This half-term the language in focus is Polish! Polish is the official language of Poland, and in total it is the first language of around 38.5 million people! It is also the second language of many people from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and it is spoken in Polish communities across many countries including the U.K., Australia, and Israel! This means that internationally over 50 million people speak this language!
